A little about the person who'll be in your kitchen.

Hi, I'm Ruby! I'm a 20-year-old based on the Mornington Peninsula who has been house and pet sitting for the past year. Loving what I do so much, I've officially taken the leap to turn my passion into a full-time business!

Growing up around animals, caring for them comes naturally to me. I own two horses and have had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it's high-energy dog walks, cozy cat cuddles, or keeping farm animals on schedule, I treat every pet with the same love and attention as my own.

Bonus perk: I also work as a professional house cleaner! That means while you're away, your pets are pampered, your property is secure, and you get to walk through the door to a sparkling clean, fresh home upon your return.

This is a rough quote to give you an idea of overall cost — not a final price. After we meet up and I see what's actually needed, I'll email you the confirmed total. If extra work comes up along the way, it'll be added on top.

  • The quote above is a rough estimate only — the final price is confirmed by email after an in-person meet & greet.
  • Any extra pets, tasks, or requests found after the meet & greet (or during the stay) may be added to the final cost.
  • A meet & greet is required before a booking is confirmed — this lets me see the pets, home, and routine in person.
  • My partner usually stays with me during bookings — happy to introduce you both at the meet & greet if that's helpful.
  • House sitting doesn't mean I'm sitting in the house all day — I'm there for the overnight stay as stated, but I'll also be out for parts of the day (riding my own horses, working for my partner, the gym). Pets and home are never left unattended for extended periods, and everything discussed at the meet & greet will still be covered.
  • Cancellations made within 5 days of the booking start date incur a flat $100 cancellation fee, payable regardless of the final quote.
  • You'll need to provide keys/access, emergency contact details, and your vet's contact information.
  • In an emergency, I'm authorised to seek veterinary care on your pet's behalf, at your expense.
  • I'll treat your home and pets with care, but I'm not responsible for pre-existing damage, illness, or wear and tear.
  • If something breaks or goes wrong at the property during my stay (e.g. appliances, gates, fences, plumbing), I'll call a qualified tradesperson to fix it — repair costs are covered by you, the homeowner, not by me.
  • I'll always contact you first where possible before arranging any repair or callout, except in genuine emergencies.
  • The home needs to be clean when I arrive to start the stay.
  • I'll leave the house just as clean — if not cleaner — for your return.
  • If I arrive and the house hasn't been left clean, I reserve the right to either not go ahead with the stay, or call in a cleaner — with that fee added on top of the final cost.
  • Cancellations, changes, or questions should be sent as early as possible so we can sort it out together.
